Born and raised in Perth, Eddy has been competing in many state and national junior tournaments at a very young age. He has consistently reached the top 3 in the state during his junior playing career.

Playing Career
Born and raised in Perth, Eddy has been competing in many state and national junior tournaments at a very young age. He has consistently reached the top 3 in the state during his junior playing career.
Eddy has competed in the 18/u ITF tournaments in Darwin transitioning into the senior competitions around W.A and Northern Territory. He has represented WA twice in the school sport Pizzey Cup competitions, twice in the 14/u Sproule Stephens Cup and once in the 16/u Reid Cup competitions. He had teamed up alongside the likes of Matt Ebden and Bryden Klein as top 3 players to represent the state.
Eddy was part of the international team that came 3rd overall representing Australia and Applecross Senior High School as the team challenge winner in the international schools competition.
Coaching Career
Eddy’s current formal coaching qualifications are:
- Current Tennis Australia Level 2 Club Professional Coach
- Eddy has over 15 years of coaching experience. He has coached at various before and after school clinics around Perth, has coached at a number of clubs and has travelled abroad to coach at an international based academy in Beijing for a year.
- He has taken some promising juniors over to Adelaide, providing guidance for the national tournaments they competed in.
- Eddy has seen and been part of many successes at various tennis clubs and academies he has coached at. He hopes to continue to do what he loves, which is coaching juniors to become competitive players and ultimately, the next top state ranked and national players which he thrives on these exciting opportunities.
His goal is for his students to play at a level he had reached as a junior and is very proud when they exceed the successes he once achieved.
